BACKGROUND

An experienced, dynamic executive, who has acquired a wide range of technical skills and knowledge in financial services as a result of a varied career within the Old Mutual Organisation which he joined in 1984. 

He served as Managing Director of  CABS on 1st November 2004 and was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Old Mutual Zimbabwe Limited on 1st September 2012 with responsibility for CABS .

He worked on a contract basis for the Old Mutual Group in East Africa Kenya from 1st April 2014 until January 2017 when he returned to Zimbabwe and was appointed Special Projects Manager Old Mutual Zimbabwe until his retirement on 30th April 2018.

POST RETIREMENT ACTIVITIES

  1. Appointed Arbitrator, Commercial Arbitration Centre Zimbabwe, June 2019
  2. Appointed to the Board of First Capital Bank in October 2019. Currently Chairman of Credit and IT Committees and member of the Audit Committee.
  3. Appointed Chairman of Mangwana Opportunities (Private) Limited 21st August 2020.
